The Art League of Nassau County “Paint Out” at Old Westbury Gardens was once again a success. The weather held for 2 days of painting outdoors amid the historic gardens and majestic early 20th century mansion. The Gardens also hosted a reception and show of our “plein air” painters works in the elegant west porch of the mansion. Visitors enjoyed the artists' interpretations of the wide variety of flowers, unique trees and impressive architecture of the Gardens. A portion of sales of the oil, watercolor, acrylic and graphic works benefited the Gardens.
